Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein is facing vandalism charges in North Dakota.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein is expected to face charges for alleged vandalism or trespassing at a North Dakota construction site.
Authorities say Stein spray painted construction equipment while protesting alongside approximately 200 people at a Dakota Access Pipeline work site on Tuesday, according to a report in the Bismarck Tribune.
Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier said the sheriff’s department is “working up the information through the state’s attorney’s office to pursue charges” against Stein. It’s unclear whether the charges would be felonies or misdemeanors.
