President Donald Trump continued taking shots at Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday, calling him “beleaguered” and saying Sessions should be investigating his former political rival, Hillary Clinton.

Trump wrote on his @realonaldtrump account: “So why aren’t the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?”

In a separate morning tweet, Trump took aim at the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, which is conducting a probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump called Rep. Adam Schiff ( D-Calif.) “sleazy,” “totally biased,” and put Russia in quotation marks:

The tweets come as Axios reports that Trump is weighing replacing Sessions with ally Rudy Giuliani. The former New York City mayor had been on Trump’s shortlist for secretary of state. The outlet also notes that “Giuliani would have a tough time getting 50 Republicans senators to vote to confirm him.”

Also on Monday morning, senior White House adviser and Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner is speaking behind closed doors to the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is also conducting a probe into alleged election meddling. In a statement released ahead of his appearence there, Kushner confirms contacts with Russian officials.
