I have a simple message for Republican primary voters: if you want to win the 2016 presidential election, nominate Ohio Gov. John Kasich. He will carry the Buckeye State’s crucial electoral votes, beat Hillary Clinton and win back the White House for the GOP. Seriously, take it to the bank.
For someone who doesn’t agree with Kasich on a range of issues, it pains me to give this advice. But, fellow Republicans, the best candidate is right in front of you and you’re ignoring him. Many times, you’ll even call him a RINO – Republican in name only – because he believes in a more moderate version of conservatism.
Please, just stop shooting yourselves in the feet.
