The city of Tarkov and its neighborhood are perilous in many aspects, and you need to keep radical steps to stay alive. These life-saving steps vary widely depending on the terrain you choose to live. As the game unfolds, the spectrum of choosing a region becomes limited as the elite traders assign different tasks in a different areas. You have to comply with those orders. In some areas, you need to move lightning fast, while in some, you need to slow down. Every assignment in Escape from Tarkov gives you a brutal experience, and there is no mercy for errors.
Select a map
Your best strategy as a beginner is to carefully select a map that is less hostile and averts person-to-person combat. The main objective is to survive in the bloody streets of Tarkov and collect the best resource available. In the course, you will encounter the scavengers or Scavs and need to overcome them, or else you are dead. To live a fuller life, you need to pick a map where you can levy your own terms; as PMC, three maps will be presented to you, and those needs careful study.
Several districts
The game comes with several districts; customs, interchange, woods, factory, reserve, shoreline, and lab. Suggested ones are customs, interchange, and shoreline; you will get additional information about those maps from the gamers’ community and Tarkov wiki, which proves to be invaluable in time. After you choose the desired map, plan the time of raid cautiously, the best is dusk and dawn, then you find the little movement of enemies and least PvP threats. In these hostile situations, a helping hand is immensely beneficial; eft cheats give you the confidence to glide through the worn devastated town of Tarkov.
Shoreline
Many experienced players recommend starting with shoreline if you are stepping for the first time into the world of EFT. The main advantage is points of interest are clearly defined, which makes it easy for you to study the map and Scavs progeny. As there is a lot of forest area, it gives you cover while traversing from one point o another, and the distance between the two is vast. A river runs through the middle of the topography dividing it into left and right sections. The most commuted place is the resort which attracts most of the PMCs keeping other regions vacant, so the lot becomes easier. The resort is the hotspot of shoreline due to large loot amassed over here. Though shoreline is an appropriate map for beginners, as a novice, you must avoid resorts as a lot of activities revolve around the location.
Interchange
Interchange maps have vast open land and signify more loot attracts both Scavs and PMCs. If you focus on land area and sizeable loot, this may seem challenging, but if you concentrate on the lower area of the PMC route, it holds a lot of promise for beginners.
Reserve
Reserve through newly added is popular among players and located in a deserted military base. The place adventurers as there are much rare loot spawns, and one of the few terrains where you encounter spawn riders. They are an elite squad of Scavs well trained and heavily armed. Moreover, Glukhar, with his six men armed military personnel, travel to hunt PMCs like you. This map is action-filled with mobile train extract and lately added subversive raider shelter; you will enjoy the map with your teammates.
Custom
Custom is located in the proximity of many industrial plots near Tarkov, and as the name suggests, it is quarters of a cargo depot, dormitory, office space, and building site. This zone is regarded as an entry point as many early game expeditionary and low-level players come in through this sector. Despite this dishonor, it is one of the active maps again and again. Over here, you will find players with varying skill levels and have some memorable experiences. With stigma or otherwise, it gives some classic experience to players.
Lighthouse
Lighthouse, aka woods, is the latest addition to the Tarkov map, and geographically it shares a border with Shoreline. In the beginning, the response of players was mixed, but new content and features made it a hub for PVC and Scavs. In this zone, you will encounter Rouges ex-USEC private AI soldiers with striking weapons and skill. They vigilantly guard the water treatment plant located in this sector. Movement of you and other troops is restricted as long-range engagements are regular. This map offers more action and thrill than other districts, and you will want more of it.
Terragroup lab
Terragroup lab is the most iniquitous location of all Tarkov maps, for high value loots many well-geared PMCs and AI Rouge habitat this sector. This underground lab officially does not exist and secretively carries R&D, testing, and stimulation of various ventures in chemistry, physics, biology, and high-tech warfare. The obscure shade keycards and rare keys open doors to the Lab where you can win big.
