“Teacher’s Notebook” gives us a view of reading from the eyes of those suffering with dyslexia.
Imagine reading like this, and then perhaps you can understand what they mean by “concentration”. It’s not as simple as getting letters reversed here and there – we all do that. It’s really a mess.
When someone tells you they have dyslexia and need a bit of extra time to read and ingest something, remember this and hold on to an understanding of what they’re really saying.
